Our interior ceramic coating is designed to give the best possible protection for your vehicle’s interior.
Why would I need a ceramic coating for my interior?
Simply put it’s the best way to protect the interior of your car, SUV, or truck. It is a true ceramic coating, similar to what people apply to the exterior of vehicles but modified so that it works better with interior surfaces.
Here are the benefits of coating your interior:
- UV light protection. The coating effectively blocks UV rays, protecting your interior surfaces from fading, cracking, and other degradation over time. This is especially helpful for convertibles.
- Dye transfer protection. Leather seats with light colors are prone to pick up dye from your clothes, especially blue jeans. Interior ceramic helps prevent this from happening.
- Anti-static property. Static electricity can cause dust to build up quickly on surfaces like your dashboard. Interior ceramic will negate this static attraction, keeping your interior looking clean longer.
- Stain resistance. On fabric and carpet, interior ceramic will prevent stains from setting in.
- Easy clean up. Due to the hydrophobic and anti-static nature of interior ceramic, any messes that do occur will clean up much easier than before. Dirt doesn’t like to stick to it!
What surfaces can be coated?
Nearly all surfaces on the interior of the car can be coated, including plastic, vinyl, wood, leather, rubber, upholstery, and carpet. Everything in your interior gets coated except the glass and headliner.
How long does it last?
Like other ceramic coatings, interior ceramic is extremely durable. The only way to remove it is through abrasion. For areas that aren’t frequently touched the coating can last the life of the vehicle. On more frequently touched surfaces like the driver’s seat and steering wheel, you may need to reapply in six months to one year.
How long does it take to apply?
This is an add on service to a full interior detail. All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned to prepare for coating. The actual coating application will add about one hour to a full interior detail appointment. You will need to wait about one additional hour after application before driving.
